| Westview now knows its opponent. So does the rest of District 13AA. Pairings are now set on the boys’ side of the Region 7AA Tournament later this week following the consolation and championship games from District 14AA at Lexington. Jackson South Side topped McNairy Central 68-61 in the consolation game, and then Bolivar downed Liberty 64-51 in the championship game. The boys’ regional will begin Saturday night at higher seeds’ homes with Westview hosting South Side, Covington entertaining McNairy, Haywood at Liberty and Ripley visiting Bolivar. Rameil Pollard scored a game-high 33 points, and the Hawks scored four points in the final 30 seconds to seal the win. McNairy trailed just 64-61 on a pair of Jalen Barford free throws with half a minute to play. Trailing 29-20 at the half, Bolivar outscored Liberty 23-9 in the third quarter.
