OVC women’s tourney gets ESPN treatment

The Ohio Valley Con-ference announced Mon-day that the women’s basketball tournament semifinals and final will be aired on ESPN3, ESPN Full Court and select stations in OVC markets.
Fans can check the OVC Basketball Championship website for a complete list of stations.
ESPN3 is ESPN’s live multi-screen sports network, a 24/7 destination that delivers thousands of global sports events annually and accessible online via WatchESPN.com.
It is available to about 70 million homes at no cost to fans who receive a high-speed Internet connection or video subscription from an affiliated provider.
The network is also available at no cost to about 21 million U.S. college students and U.S.-based military personnel via computers connected to on-campus educational networks and on-base military networks.
It can be accessed on smartphones and tablets via the WatchESPN app and on ESPN on Xbox LIVE through an affiliated provider.
Bob Belvin will be doing the play-by-play with Jim Tirey providing the analysis.
This will be the second straight year Belvin and Tirey have called the women’s basketball semifinals and final.
The semifinals will take place on March 2, while the title game will be held on March 3 at the Municipal Auditorium in Nashville.
The two semifinals tip at noon and 2 p.m. while the final begins at 4:30 p.m.
