ENCHANTED EVENING
Prince Christopher, played by Cody Speed, kisses the hand of Cinderella, played by Whitney Reynolds, in a scene from the Masquerade Theatre production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella: Enchanted.” The musical will open Friday night at the Capitol Theater in downtown Union City and will run weekends through March 11. Performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday, as well as 7:30 p.m. March 2-3 and March 9-10 and 2 p.m. March 4 and March 11. Tickets are $15 each and are available in advance at Lanzer Printing and Office Supply in downtown Union City or will be available at the door prior to performances. The musical is a modern-day version of the classic fairy tale and is family friendly, a spokesman said. The production will showcase Masquerade’s new digital backdrop, which allows colorful scenes to be projected onto a big screen on the set.
