FEEDING THE FAITHFUL – On Jan. 28, New Home Baptist Church in Martin hosted a breakfast for the University of Tennessee at Martin Skyhawk baseball team to kick off their upcoming 2012 season. Thirty-seven players and coaches attended and enjoyed a home-cooked breakfast prepared by members of the church. Nate Elliott, a UTM senior, active member of the Baptist Collegiate Ministry and youth director at Alamo Baptist Church, was the guest speaker that morning.  New Home Baptist Church is located at 8403 New Home Road, southwest of Martin.  The church is planning more meals for other UT Martin athletic organizations in the coming weeks.
