‘Red’ Riley Posted: Friday, February 17, 2012 3:04 pm The Messenger, February 17, 2012 James W. “Red” Riley, 83, of Hornbeak died Feb. 15, 2012, at Jackson Regional Hospital. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Cryer Funeral Home in Obion, with the Revs. Robert Johnson and Mike Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery near Hornbeak. Friends may call at the cemetery 5-8 p.m. today. Pallbearers will be Rick Yates, Tom Yates, Greg Campbell, Trevor Riley, Austin Riley, Brent Riley and T.J. Kirby. Honorary pallbearers wil be Randy Lamb, Rick Spicer, Billy Lamb and HB Dodd. He was a retired farmer and member of Hornbeak Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Robbie Riley; three sons, Gary Riley of Troy, Jeff Riley of Hornbeak and Matt Riley of Union City; two daughters, Teresa Yates and Debbie Campbell, both of Hornbeak; his brother, Earl Riley of Medical Lake, Wash.; his sister, Mildred Dickey of Decatur, Ala.; and 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Virgie (Anderson) Riley; his brother, Andy Riley; and his sister, Henrietta Tinkle.
