The January Prayer Breakfast was held Jan. 26. Last month’s speaker was Bro. Virgil Allen. He did a wonderful job with devotion and prayer service. The dietary department prepared a delicious country ham breakfast with homemade biscuits, red-eye gravy, eggs to order, oatmeal and more. They did an amazing job.
Last week’s Social Hour was a popular hit. Mostly because the residents get the choice of what is served. They choose chips and dip along with ice cream for this week’s pleasure foods. On Jan. 30, the residents gathered for coffee break. They enjoyed cupcakes and cookies with their coffee and also played cards and games. Everyone had a great time. Another tasty activity last week was popcorn and a movie. The residents love to enjoy fresh popped popcorn from the facility machine. The delightful smell also lures in visitors and employees as well.
