Miller Insurance agency opens in UC

Angie Miller has opened Miller Insurance and Financial Services at 115 West Main St. Union City.
The former Angie Siglow is a full-time insurance professional representing the Horace Mann Companies, specializing in retirement planning and the insurance needs of the educational community. Her agency also offers a variety of insurance services through Progressive and Foremost, including auto, home, life and annuities for clients outside the educational field.
Mrs. Miller has more than 16 years of banking and financial services experience. She is a member of Rotary Club International and is a Paul Harris Fellow, is active in the American Heart Association and is a team leader in the American Cancer Society.
She has also been involved in Credit Professionals International, where she has received the designation of Credit Professional Executive.
Mrs. Miller received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Management from Union University and later attended Baker College, where she earned a Master’s in Business Management with an emphasis in Human Resource Management.
Mrs. Miller and her husband, Jody Miller, have two sons, Blake, 12, and Jayden, 2.
In order to meet the needs of her clients, Mrs. Miller has a licensed insurance producer on her staff, Eric Phillips of Dresden. He has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and Management from the University of Tennessee at Martin.
He is working on his Master’s of Business Administration from UTM.
