Fulton meeting set

Fulton City Commission will meet 5:45 p.m. today in the commission room at Fulton City Hall. The session is open to the public.
Items on the agenda include discussion with Bryan Barker about a recycling program; consideration of a municipal order authorizing J.L. Atwill to advertise and accept sealed bids on P-25 digital radios, per the Homeland Security Grant; consideration of a municipal order to renew Stephen Goodman’s meter reading contract; consideration of a municipal order authorizing the city manager to advertise for a mechanic; discussion on setting term limits on reappointments to city boards; discussion on purchasing natural gas for the next fiscal year; discussion on a request form Jimmy Bostic, a certified building inspector, level III; and discussion on 2011 compliance with net profits tax;
Other business, as presented by guests, the city manager, commissioners, the city attorney and the mayor, will also be considered. The commission will then adjourn into executive session to discuss personnel and pending litigation. That session will not be open to the public.
