The Martin Police Department, Martin Fire Department and Weakley County Ambulance Service responded to a three-vehicle accident at the intersection of Skyhawk Parkway and Mt. Pelia Road around noon Wednesday.

Martin police and fire departments, along with Weakley County Ambulance Service, responded to the intersection of Skyhawk Parkway and Mt. Pelia Road in Martin Wednesday around noon for a three-vehicle accident with injuries.
According to witnesses, a 1995 Ford F-150 driven by Dalton Teeter of Baker Road in Martin was traveling southbound on Skyhawk Parkway when he reportedly ran the red light and struck a 2007 GMC Yukon driven by Alexander Parham of Bushart Road in Martin.
After the initial collision, the Ford F-150 went airborne and struck a 2004 Honda CRV driven by Rachel Lenagar of Church Street in Martin who was traveling northbound on Skyhawk Parkway. The Ford F-150 came to a rest upside down.
Teeter was wearing his seatbelt and crawled safely out of the vehicle. He was treated on the scene for minor injuries. He was cited on the scene for failure to obey traffic control device.
Lenager was reportedly transported by ambulance to Volunteer Community Hospital where she was treated and released.
Parham was taken to Union City Hospital by family members where he was treated for minor injuries and released, according to a press release.
The accident remains under investigation by the Martin Police Department.
