DES JANUARY CITIZENS OF THE MONTH – Several elementary students were recognized during the Dresden Elementary School Citizen of the Month program. This program is sponsored by the Dresden Pilot Club and Woodmen of the World Lodge 291. Each student is selected by his/her teacher. These students are then recognized at an elementary assembly where they receive an American flag, pin and Citizen of the Month certificate. Recognizing the elementary students at a ceremony recently were (in random order), Dresden High school football players: #6 Cody Willingham, # 14 Gatlin Hatchel, #16 Davis Moran, #23 Colin Kanehl, #33 Casey McDaniels, #34 Devan Raymer, #54 Austin Parsley, #55 Jamie Garner, #56 DJ Ellis, # 59 Dylan Kemp, #86 Tyler McPeak Dresden Pilot Club member Laurie Pritchett and David Spencer, Woodmen of the World Lodge 291 sponsor. January DES Citizens of the Month were (in random order), kindergarten: Ashton Leo, Bre’Asia Washington, Kennedy Lee, Creed Melton, Andrew Hurt; first grade: Cora Ogg, Hunter Suiter, Raxzey Campbell, Maconnell Forester; second grade: Lindsey Gobel, Kimberly Hatchel, Paul Nichols, Trey Eddings, LeeAnne Morefield, Morgan Richards; third grade: Autumn Frazier, Tanner Scronce, Erin Mallory, Emily Matz; fourth grade: Krystal Hill, Spencer Giannoni, Carson Johnson, Tyler Dick, Cameron Gann and Bryan Vieyra.
