Cost Share funding ready

The Weakley County Cost Share funding is available to help farmers install conservation work on farmland. Applications are now being accepted from all areas of the county.
The funds are made available through the Tennessee Department of Agriculture and administered locally by the conservation district.
Applications will be selected for funding on a first-come, first-serve basis until available funding in utilized. Projects must be complete by mid-June of this year.
For those in need of a structure in the fall, new applications will be accepted beginning July 2012. For more information, contact the district office by phone at 364-5430, ext. 3.
The district office is located at the USDA service center off of Highway 22 at 196 Hunt St. in Dresden.
