The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Laura Kathryn Vaughn of Martin  and Patrick Lance Davis of Kenton are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mylinda Tyner and the late Woody Vaughn of Martin. Her grandparents are the late Wilson and  Kathryn Vaughn of Martin and Joe White of Scotts Hill, and Lyndia Young of Beech Bluff.
The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of Westview High School. She graduated in 2011 from the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in family and consumer sciences.
She is employed at Walmart in Martin.
The groom-elect is the son of Tina and Michael Dotson of Kenton. He is the grandson of Don Green and the late Agnes  Green of Kenton and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Dotson of Woodland Mills.
He is a 2006 graduate of Obion County Central High School and is currently attending Newbern Technology Center, where he is majoring in industrial maintenance.
The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m., March 17 at Central Baptist Church in Martin.
A reception will be held at the Elks Lodge in Dresden following the ceremony.
