Huffstetler is the vice president of Greenfield Banking Company. He is involved in many organizations, including the Weakley County Chamber of Commerce, the Weakley County Board of Equalization, the Weakley County Economic Development Board and the Greenfield Rotary Club. By participating in WestStar, he said he hopes to gain good ideas and leadership skills to carry back to his work place while networking with leaders across West Tennessee to help him be a better person and leader in his community.

He is the director of the Tennessee Governor’s School for Agriculture, a volunteer for Santa’s Village and is involved with Future Farmers of America and UTM Farm Festival. Mehlhorn said he hopes to use his WestStar experience to become more involved in the region outside of the county to better work with students and producers from around the region with the hope of helping UTM become more involved with West Tennessee.
