Miss Vaughn, Davis to exchange vows

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Laura Kathryn Vaughn and Patrick Lance Davis are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mylinda Tyner and the late Woody Vaughn of Martin.
She is the granddaughter of the late Wilson and Kathryn Vaughn of Martin, Joe White of Scotts Hill and Lyndia Young of Beech Bluff.
Miss Vaughn is a 2007 graduate of Westview High School in Martin and a 2011 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in family and consumer sciences.
She is currently employed with Walmart in Martin.
Davis is the son of Tina and Michael Joe Dotson of Kenton.
He is the grandson of Don Green and the late Agnes Green of Kenton and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Dotson of Woodland Mills.
The groom-elect is a 2006 graduate of Obion County Central High School and a former employee of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in Union City. He is currently enrolled at Newbern Technology Center in industrial maintenance.
The couple will wed March 17 at 6 p.m. at Central Baptist Church in Martin. A reception will follow at the Elks Lodge in Dresden.
All friends and relatives of the couple are invited to attend the wedding and reception.
