Letha Smith, 79, of Paducah, Ky., passed away at 11:12 p.m.  Feb. 4, 2012, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah. She was the sister of Artie Marie Bondurant of South Fulton.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah, with Dr. Louis Brinker officiating.
Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. in East View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to American Heart Association, Kentucky Region 240, Whittington Pkwy., Louisville, KY 40222; or to Twelve Oaks Baptist Church, 2110 New Holt Road, Paducah, KY 42001.
Mrs. Smith was a member of Twelve Oaks Baptist Church, a retired school bus driver for the McCracken County (Ky.) School System and a member of a  homemakers group.
She is also survived by her husband, Stephen Smith; her daughter and son-in-law, Debbie (Smith) and Butch Alderson of Lone Oak, Ky.; her son and daughter-in-law, Stephen “Sonny” Smith Jr. and Lynne Smith of Paducah; four grandchildren, Brian Price, Lori DeVito, Quent Smith and Ross Smith; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Buster Owens; and her parents, Herman and Jenny (Ashley) Owens.
