‘Christmas’ event set

Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Tennessee-Union City will be celebrating “Christmas in February” Saturday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the club, located at 1015 East College St. in Union City.
New books, clothes, women’s shoes, toys and more will be given away and those attending are reminded to bring their own boxes.
Donations to help provide supplies for the club will be accepted during the event, a spokesman said.
“This is one of the times we are able to give back to the community and we invite everyone to join us,” a spokesman said.
