Allison P. Bennett of Obion and Sara J. Konkol of Union City recently graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro during fall commencement ceremonies.

Several students from Obion County were named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro.
They included Lauren Danielle Berner and Bret Reid Wiggins, both of Troy; Rebecca Lauren Easley, Karleen May Hollis, Hunter Blake Jackson, Sara Jo Konkol and Damio LaQuan Yancy, all of Union City; Lauren H. Nabors of South Fulton; and Terri Diana Whitmore of Hornbeak.
To qualify for this distinction at Middle Tennessee State University, an undergraduate student must maintain a current semester grade-point average of 3.5 or above and earn at least 12 semester hours.

Union City residents Andrew S. Keathley and Brady Tidwell were named to the Dean’s List at the University of Memphis for the fall semester.
Students on the list met one of the following criteria for the semester: completion of six to eight graded hours with a semester grade point average of 4.00; completion of nine to 11 graded hours with a minimum GPA of 3.66; or completion of 12 or more graded hours with a semester GPA of 3.5 or above.

Jeff Lee Webber of Union City and William Benjamin Yates of Troy were named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester at Walters State Community College in Morristown.
To make the Dean’s List at Walters State Community College, a student must maintain a grade point average of 3.5-3.99 while carrying 12 hours or more.
