Completed arrangements are being announced for Mary Nell Adams of Union City, who died 6:45 p.m. Feb. 4, 2012, at Haws Memorial Nursing Home in Fulton.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Kinsey officiating. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. today.
Pallbearers will be Steven Adams, W.M. “Bubba” Adams, David Adams, Ronnie Deaton, Mark Moore, Kevin Moore, Larry Speed and Louis Davis.
She was a retired retail clerk and had worked at Helping Hand Ministry in Union City. She was a member of Crosswind Church and Jones-Walker Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4862 Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles Dennis “Denny” and Stacie Adams of Pilot Oak, Ky., and Dan L. and Cindy Adams of Mulvane, Kan.; nine grandchildren, Charles “Chuck” Turner, Rhonda Kay Davis, Steven Adams, W.M. “Bubba” Adams, Shannon Deaton, Lauren Grooms, Stephanie Adams, Wendy Lynn Tiday and David Adams; 16 great-grandchilden; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Mattie (Maxey) Garner; her daughter, Betty Sue Adams; and three brothers.
