Natha Lee Tanner, 90, of Obion died Feb. 3, 2012, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky.
Graveside services were set for 11 a.m. today at Oak Ridge Cemetery near Obion, with the Rev. Gary Dalton officiating and Joe David Anderson, Nathan Tanner, Richard Bonee, Terry Wright, Corban Bonee and Dakota Eaves serving as pallbearers.
Cryer Funeral Home in Obion is in charge of arrangements.
He was born Jan. 1, 1922, in Obion, son of the late Mid and Ruby (Gwaltney) Tanner. He was the widower of the former Martha Thrasher and was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran and a self-employed carpenter. He attended Oak Ridge Church of Christ.
He is survived by his son, Natha A. Tanner of Fulton; his brother, Robert Tanner of Union City; his sister, Jane Sublett of Union City; his granddaughter, Tammy Bonee of Thompson Station; his grandson, Nathan Tanner of Union City; and three great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Juanita Milner; and his brother, Velbert Tanner.
