First place – Tara Wilkey, medical photography; Carlie Vowell, job-seeking skills; Second place – Dylan Brown, physical therapy assisting; Jordan Long, national issue exam; Third place – Morgan Curlin, extemporaneous speaking; Kailee Pritchett, extemporaneous health poster; Fourth place – Mariah Boyd, prepared speaking. Students will head to HOSA state competitions in Nashville April 16-18. Their advisor is Carolyn Glover, RN. Chaperenes of the recent trip included Jennifer Wenz and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Boyd. The mission of HOSA is to enhance the delivery of compassionate, quality health care by providing opportunities for knowledge, skill and leadership development of all health science technology education students, therefore, helping students to meet the needs of the health care community.
