The Messenger congratulates Mr. and Mrs. Seth Marks of Troy on the birth of a son, Greyson Alexander Marks. He was born Jan. 24, 2012, at 12:55 p.m. at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin. He weighed 7 pounds, 5 1/2 ounces, and was 21 inches in length. He is the brother of McKenna Marks, 6, of Dover, Del. Grandparents are Jeff and Sabrina Alexander and Barry and Julie Kendall, all of Obion, Terry and Diana Marks of Union City and Devona Parker of Tiptonville. Great-grandparents are Jim and Margie Kendall of Troy, Brenda Kirkendol and the late William Kirkendol of Jackson, Iris Argo and the late Bill Argo and Vernon and Virginia Alexander, all of Union City, the late Arthur and Earline Marks of Tiptonville and Earl Clanton and the late Shirley Clanton of Obion. The mother is the former Mary Beth Kendall of Obion.
