Computer classes offered at library

The C.E. Weldon Public Library in Martin will offer a variety of computer classes throughout the month of February free of charge. Classes include:
• Microsoft Word Basics: Saturday at 10 a.m. and Feb. 9 at 6:30 p.m
This class will cover components of a typical Word window. Learn to create and save a document, editing and formatting techniques, cut, copy and paste, and preview and printing documents
Prerequisite: Introduction to Computers class or must be proficient with the mouse and have a good understanding of keyboard editing keys.
• Advanced Microsoft Word: Feb. 16 at 6:30 p.m.
Microsoft Word provides many of the features you’ll find in most commercial desktop publishing programs. Learn all the features that will get you on your way to creating beautiful newsletters, fliers, greeting cards, etc. Prerequisite: Microsoft Word for Beginners, or must be proficient with basic Word functions.
