Betty Jean Harrington Parrish, 78, of Obion died Jan. 24, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Cryer Funeral Home in Obion, with the Rev. James Kinsey officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in Obion.
Pallbearers will be Mark Keeling, Alan Jordan, Randy Hollis, Randy Evans, Buddy Griffin and Daryl Blackley.
Friends may call at the funeral home 6-8 p.m. today.
She was born in Mason Hall and was the daughter of the late Howell Needham and the late Mogia (Morris) Needham Hayes. She was a member of Trimble First United Methodist Church and had been a seamstress at the former Troy Manufacturing Co.
She is survived by two sons, Charles David Harrington of Obion and Wendell Keith Harrington of Savannah; and three grandchildren, Jada Worrell of Union City and Amber Harrington and Derek Harringotn, both of Dyersburg.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Parrish, who died in 1999, and her first husband, David Harrington, who died in 1974.
