The Murray (Ky.) State University Commonwealth Honors Academy is bringing together gifted high school juniors from Kentucky, Tennessee, Illinois and Missouri for three weeks this summer for an enrichment experience like no other.
Students from the 2011 academy rave about the program.
Caitlyn Aitken wrote, “Going to CHA is the best decision I’ve ever made.”
Trevor Kaler simply said, “It is one of the greatest experiences of my life.”
Students accepted to the academy will live on the Murray State campus, taking classes for six hours of university credit, all at no cost to them. Each student will also participate in a personal development seminar.  Activities outside the classroom, such as concerts, distinguished speakers, field trips and recreational events, round out the academy.
The program runs June 9-30. The deadline for applications to the 2012 Commonwealth Honors Academy is March 1.
