Donald Ray Parham, 66, of Dresden died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin.
Services will be held 1 p.m. today (Tuesday) at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel in Dresden with Roger Graham officiating. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery in Dresden.
David Parham, Kyle Parham, Kurt Parham, Matthew Parham, Michael Dobson, Kenneth Radford and Robert Maddox will serve as pallbearers.
Parham was born April 24, 1945, in Martin, son of the late Arlin P. “Red” and Ruby Rachel Bowlin Parham. He was Associate Director of Ned R. McWherter Ag Pavilion and Ag Professor at the University of Tennessee at Martin Teaching Farm.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Connie S. McAlpin Parham of Dresden; two sons, Jackie Lynn (Beth) Parham of Paris and Brian Keith Parham of Summersville, Mo.; two brothers, Jerry Dan Parham and Michael Lynn (Norma) Parham, both of Dresden; five grandchildren, Crockett Parham of Summersville, Matthew Parham, Montana Parham, Michael Dobson and Megon Dobson, all of Paris; and two great-grandchildren, Chelsey Sullivan and Audrey Rosas.
