The Obion County Public Library will be hosting the January Kids Craft event Wednesday from 3:30-4:30 p.m. for children in grades kindergarten through sixth. There is a $2 supply fee for the program, which is presented in partnership with the Obion County Extension Agency’s 4-H Club.
Students will be baking cookies and decorating them like melted snowmen. They will then be able to enjoy eating them with a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows.
Limited space is available. Those interested are asked to call 885-7000, e-mail to jenny.virgin@oclibrary.org or stop by the library’s circulation desk to sign up.
The library is located at 1221 East Reelfoot Ave. in Union City.
