Teresa Jean Bishop, 50, of Union City died Jan. 17, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Fremont Cemetery near Union City, with the Rev. Jerry Leggett officiating. There will be no visitation.
Pallbearers will be James Armstrong, Danny Sweeny, Carl Glover, Gary Gumm, Yates Scribner and Doug Powell.
White-Ranson Funeral Home is in charge or arrangements.
The family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hosital
She was born March 15, 1961, in Indianapolis, daughter of Mary Elizabeth Baker of Union City and the late Bobby Bishop Sr. She was a certified nurse’s assistant at Union City Manor Nursing Home and attended Union City Second Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons and her daughter-in-law, Jackie and Molly Krietman and Justin Krietman, all of Union City; two grandchildren, Jada Krietman and Jenna Krietman, both of Union City; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Randy and Heidi Bishop and Timmy Bishop, all of Union City, and Bobby Bishop Jr. and Jenny Bishop of Troy; her sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and Billy Collins of Union City; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Ben and Lola Bishop and Claude and Willow Mae Baker.
