The Union City School System has announced the following lunch menus for Jan. 23-27:
Union City High School
Monday, Jan. 23 — Baked chicken nuggets with whole-wheat roll, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Tuesday, Jan. 24 — Beef spaghetti with whole-wheat breadstick, fresh salad cup, steamed broccoli, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Wednesday, Jan. 25 — Hot ham and cheese with whole-wheat bun, black-eyed peas, sweet potatoes, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Thursday, Jan. 26 — Beef vegetable soup and grilled cheese sandwich, turnip greens, cole slaw, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Friday, Jan. 27 — Cheeseburger with whole-wheat bun, french fries, fresh sandwich salad cup, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Note: Union City High School offers fiesta bar, reduced-fat pizza bar and fresh salad bar options daily.
Union City Middle School

Wednesday, Jan. 25 — Hot ham and cheese with whole-wheat bun or tuna salad with whole-wheat bread, black-eyed peas, sweet potatoes, fresh grapes, pears and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Thursday, Jan. 26 — Beef vegetable soup and grilled cheese sandwich with whole-wheat bread or pimento cheese with whole-wheat bread, turnip greens, cole slaw, fresh banana, applesauce and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Friday, Jan. 27 — Cheeseburger with whole-wheat bun or whole-grain corn dog, french fries, fresh sandwich salad cup, fresh apple, pineapple and low-fat milk and skim milk.

South Fulton Elementary School has announced the following menus for Jan. 23-27:
Breakfast
Monday,  Jan. 23 — Apple streudel or whole-grain cereal with graham crackers and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or fruit juice.
Tuesday, Jan. 24 — Maple pancakes or whole-grain cereal with fresh orange and graham crackers and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or fruit juice.
Wednesday, Jan. 25 — Whole-grain breakfast pizza or whole-grain cereal with wheat toast and jelly and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or fruit juice.
Thursday, Jan. 26 — Sausage with whole-grain biscuit or whole-grain cereal with yogurt and graham crackers and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or fruit juice.
Friday, Jan. 27 — Sausage pancake stick with syrup or whole-grain cereal with banana and whole-grain cheese toast and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or fruit juice.
Note: Free breakfast is offered daily to every SFES student.
Lunch
Monday,  Jan. 23 — Burrito or whole-grain pepperoni pizza, romaine salad with dressing, whole kernel corn, applesauce, pudding and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Tuesday, Jan. 24 — Whole-grain corn dog or crispito with cheese, cheesy potatoes, green peas, carrot sticks with dip, mixed fruit, Goldfish crackers and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Wednesday, Jan. 25 — Chicken fajita wrap or Macho Nacho with whole-grain chips, pinto beans, corn on the cob, fresh orange, 100 percent fruit snacks and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Thursday, Jan. 26 — Chicken patty with bun or steak with gravy and whole-grain biscuit, mashed potatoes, broccoli with cheese, sliced pears, scobby sticks and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Friday, Jan. 27 — Cheeseburger with wheat bun or tuna salad with crackers, french fries, pork ‘n’ beans, pickle slices, fresh banana, baked cookie and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
