Oma Elizabeth Burpo, 81, of Martin, formerly of Hornbeak, died Jan. 13, 2012, at VanAyer Health Care and Rehab Center in Martin.
Services were set for 1 p.m. today at Cryer Funeral Home in Obion, with the Rev. James Robert Gunter officiating and burial following in Elbridge Cemetery.
Pallbearers were to be Don Ray Burpo, David Burpo and her grandsons.
She was born Jan. 6, 1931, in the Cloverdale community, near Obion, daughter of the late Homer “Peck” and Leacy (Edmaiston) Dodson. She was a homemaker and a member of Hornbeak Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Jeff and Freda Burpo and Don Ray Burpo, all of Hornbeak, and David and Barbie Burpo of Troy; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Doris Stockdale and Vriginia and Danny Stover, all of Hornbeak, and Janice and Jimmy Howell of Martin; her brother, Eddie Sanders of Portland; her sisters, Shirley Jean Doll of Westmoreland; and 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Curtis Ray Jones; two sisters, Deloris Robinson and Lanell Beeler; and her former husband, Richard Burpo.
