The Obion County Legislative Body will meet 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Obion County Courthouse circuit courtroom in Union City.
Items on the agenda include:
• the approval of minutes from the November 2011 meeting;
• a report concerning the receipting of revenue from surplus equipment auctions and sales;
• a resolution to establish that one constable be elected per commissioner district;
• a resolution to remove the law enforcement powers from the office of the county constable;
• an appointment to the Civil Service Board;
• a resolution to amend the General Purpose School Fund in the amount of $5,334;
• a presentation of changes to the county’s official road map;
• approval of a surety bond for Mary Sue Chilcutt in the highway department;
• a resolution to amend the Solid Waste Fund;
• a resolution to amend the General Fund in the amount of $80,000;
• a resolution to close the pauper cemetery reserve;
• a resolution to amend the general fund in the amount of $1,784.45;
• approval of Notary Public applications.
Also considered will be appointments to the following boards and committees:
• appointment to the Agricultural Committee (now serving, Marla Crabtree, Mike Sanders, Ned Bigelow and a replacement for Paul Albright);
• appointment to the Budget Committee (now serving, Danny Jowers, Dwayne Hensley, Allen Nohsey, Polk Glover, Ralph Puckett, Jerry Grady and Sam Sinclair Jr.);
• appointment to the Courthouse Committee (now serving, Tim Doyle, Terry Dwyer, Richard Arnold, Bigelow, Terry Roberts, Hensley and Kenneth Cheatham);
• county historian (now serving, Allen Nohsey);
• appointment to the Museum Board (now serving, Genie Ullrich, Marti Doss and Tracey Batey);
• appointment to the Health and Safety Standards Board (now serving, Mike Cary);
• appointment of the county surveyor (now serving, Bob Nichols);
Boards and committees to be considered for the March term include:
• Emergency Communi-cations District (now serving, Kathy Forrester, Dan Boykin and John Horner);
• Board of Equalization (now serving, David Fowler, John  Snead, Billy Clark and Dianne Sanderson);
• Highway Board (now serving, Jerry LaMastus and Baxter Sanders);
• NWT Regional Port Authority (now serving, Dave Frankum).
