Senior Friends celebrate in Troy

Senior Friends of Cobb’s Chapel United Methodist Church recently enjoyed their Christmas luncheon at Autry’s Country Kitchen in Troy.
Those attending were the Rev. Jim Calhoun, who gave the devotional; Pat Calhoun; the Rev. Terry English, who gave thanks for the meal; Sarah English; Ursla Luker; John Luker’; Maudie Byrd; Janette Criswell; Nancy Rivers; Leon McCullough; Evelyn Rudd; Roland Davis; Junior and Betty Davis; Mike and Sheila Davis; Faye Howard; Mozelle Flippen; Aaron Smith; Thelma Calhoun; Bobby Calhoun; Louise Johnson; Ilar and Mattie Moran; Penney Gant; Cy and Etta Harris; Mary Jane Clark; Betty Prather; Virginia Smithson; Thelma Davis; Ava Lu Roberson; Carnece Guy; Mary Nichols; and Virginia and Norval Cranford.
Readings were presented by Mrs. Moran and Mrs. Calhoun. Mrs. Gant was in charge of the gift exchange. Mrs. Davis treated the group to birthday cake in honor of her husband’s birthday.
The group will meet at Ryan’s Family Steak House in Union City Tuesday at 11:30 a.m.
