The Union City School System has announced the following lunch menus for Jan. 16-20:
Union City High School
Monday, Jan. 16 — No school; Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday.
Tuesday, Jan. 17 — Beef taco with tortilla, pinto beans, fresh taco salad cup, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Wednesday, Jan. 18 — Oriental pork and rice or noodles with whole-grain roll, steamed broccoli, baked sweet potato, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Thursday, Jan. 19 — Ham, macaroni and cheese with cornbread, Great Northern beans, steamed cabbage, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Friday, Jan. 20 — Cheeseburger with whole-wheat bun, french fries, fresh sandwich salad cup, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Note: Union City High School offers fiesta bar, reduced-fat pizza bar and fresh salad bar options daily.
Union City Middle School
Monday, Jan. 16 — No school; Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday.
Tuesday, Jan. 17 — Beef taco with tortilla and salsa, pinto beans, fresh taco salad cup, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Wednesday, Jan. 18 — Barbecued pork with whole-wheat bun, steamed broccoli, whole kernel corn, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Thursday, Jan. 19 — Ham, macaroni and cheese with cornbread, Great Northern beans, steamed cabbage, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Friday, Jan. 20 — Cheeseburger with whole-wheat bun, french fries, fresh sandwich salad cup, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.

Wednesday, Jan. 18 — Barbecued pork with whole-wheat bun or pimento cheese with whole-wheat bread, steamed broccoli, carrot sticks, fresh grapes, pears and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Thursday, Jan. 19 — Ham, whole-wheat macaroni and cheese with cornbread or bologna and cheese with whole-wheat bread, Great Northern beans, steamed cabbage, fresh banana, fruit cocktail and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Friday, Jan. 20 — Cheeseburger with whole-wheat bun or whole-grain corn dog, french fries, fresh sandwich salad cup, fresh apple, pineapple and low-fat milk and skim milk.

South Fulton Elementary has announced the following menus for Jan. 16-20:
Breakfast
Monday, Jan. 16 — No school; Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday.
Tuesday, Jan. 17 — Whole-grain Pop Tarts with yogurt or whole-grain cereal with graham cracker and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or fruit juice.
Wednesday, Jan. 18 — Whole-grain breakfast pizza or whole-grain cereal with whole-grain toast and jelly and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or fruit juice.
Thursday, Jan. 19 — Steak with whole-grain biscuit or whole-grain cereal with wheat cheese toast and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or fruit juice.
Friday, Jan. 20 — Whole-grain cinnamon biscuit or whole-grain cereal with fresh fruit and graham crackers and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or fruit juice.
Note: Free breakfast is offered daily to every SFES student.
Lunch
Monday, Jan. 16 — No school; Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday.
Tuesday, Jan. 17 — Whole-grain corn dog or whole-grain pepperoni pizza, corn on the cob, romaine salad with dressing, sliced peaches, 100 percent fruit snacks and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Wednesday, Jan. 18 — Whole-grain ham and cheese Munchin’ Meal or pork patty with wheat bun, stewed carrots, English peas, fresh orange, pudding and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Thursday, Jan. 19 — Chicken fajita wrap or Travelin’ Taco with whole-grain chips, pinto beans, whole kernel corn, salsa, pineapple tidbits, scobby stick and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Friday, Jan. 20 — Hamburger with wheat bun or turkey salad with crackers, oven-baked potato, baked beans, broccoli spears with dip, fresh apple, Jell-O and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
