Louise (Malone) Reedy, 95, of Troy died at the Obion County Nursing Home Jan. 6, 2012.
Services were set for 10 a.m. today at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with burial following in New Ebenezer Cemetery near Troy. Dr. Bobby Williams was to officiate.
Pallbearers were to be Donnie Reedy, Chuck Reedy, Bryant Cruce, Robert Albright, Travis Johnson, Johnny Guy and Sammy Cutler. Honorary pallbearers were to be Gerald Storey, Jimmie Hart, Darrell Dyer, Kris Flowers, Isaac Brown, Zack Brown and the staff of the Obion County Nursing Home.
She was born Jan. 26, 1916, in Obion County, daughter of the late Thomas Ras and Ethel (Faulk) Malone. She married Charles Dennis Reedy Jan. 7, 1934. He died in September 1977. She had been a machine operator for the former Salant & Salant in Troy and was a member of Troy Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Barbara Reedy of Union City and Raymond and Rita Reedy of Troy; six grandchildren and their spouses, Chuck and Maria Reedy of Union City, Donnie and Anita Reedy of Cordova, Joey and Michelle Ams of Nashville, N.C., Tammy and Jerry Ross and Teena and Kris Flowers, all of Troy, and Sonya Ams of Scottsdale, Ariz.; 10 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; her sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Bill Hixenbaugh of Burke, Va.; her sister-in-law, Marie Malone of Mayfield, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Audie Dyer; and her brother, George Malone.
