It is now 2012. I can’t believe that 2011 has already passed us by and we are in a new year already. WOW! Time is really passing quickly. As we all start the year with our resolutions, remember that the most important resolution is to work on your individual relationship with God. We have just celebrated the birth of our Savior and now we need to learn from His life on earth.
Study your Bibles and pray for God to open your eyes so that you understand what you are reading. Continue to treat others as you wish to be treated and receive the blessings God has to offer. I wish you and yours a very Happy New Year. Make 2012 the best year ever.
With the New Year, many places may have changed their plans and activities for each month. Be sure you check out the Sharon Senior Center and get your calendar so you know what activities are planned. If you have questions, call 456-2213 and someone will gladly share the month’s activities with you.
Remember to check out our stores in Sharon. Many places are having after-Christmas sales and you can really find bargains right here in our town.
Remember that most of the businesses in downtown Sharon are individually owned and operated. Without you shopping in their stores, they suffer and we lose the businesses. Let us keep our stores open and perhaps see more stores come into Sharon.
If you want your information in our birthday and anniversary list, email or call me with the information. You will find my information at the bottom of the article. Karen Cross will celebrate her birthday and Walter and Justine Browder will celebrate their anniversary Friday.
Marshall Tharpe will celebrate his birthday Saturday. Brenda Mansfield will celebrate her birthday Sunday. Tucker Malone will celebrate his birthday Tuesday. Jennifer Hamlin will celebrate her birthday Wednesday. Paula Green will celebrate her birthday Jan. 12. We have two anniversaries on Jan. 13, Don and Carla Edwards and James and Denise Burdette.
The thought for the week: “Reach out to those in need and humbly receive the blessings from God.” If you have a thought you would like to share with the readers, email or call and I will put it in my article. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org and phone number is 456-9823.
Well that’s all the news from the Sharon community. Remember to continue to pray for one another, our community, and our military. May God have mercy on our land and bless you all.
