|Martin Police makes drug arrest |

A search of an apartment in Martin has led to a drug arrest.
According to an incident report released by the Martin Police Department, a search warrant was executed by the department Tuesday at 109 K St., Apt. No. 2.
During the search, investigators allegedly found 19 small, individual-sized plastic bags containing a hard white substance believed to be crack cocaine.
A small bag of powder cocaine, multiple small bags of marijuana, a set of digital scales, plastic bags and a Jennings 9mm automatic pistol were also allegedly found inside the apartment during the execution of the search warrant.
Apartment resident Steven Carter admitted the drugs were his, according to the incident report.
Carter was taken into custody and charged with possession of Schedule II with intent, possession of Schedule VI with intent, unlawful carrying or possession of a weapon and unlawful drug paraphernalia.
