New Year brings cooler temps
It’s the beginning of a New Year and time to bring out the heavy coats. According to weather.gov, wind advisories Monday brought cooler temperatures to the local area.  
After dealing with wind gusts up to 30 miles per hour, today’s (Tuesday) forecast looks to be sunny with a high temperature of only around 35 degrees and a low temp of about 27 degrees later into the evening.
Wednesday’s high is forecasted to rise into the upper 40’s and expected to drop to around 27 degrees for the second consecutive night.  Thursday’s daytime highs are forecasted to climb to around 53 degrees with a low temperature projected just above freezing Thursday night into Friday morning.  
According to weather.gov, there will be a short break in the frigid temperatures just in time for the weekend.  Friday’s forecast looks to be mostly sunny with a high near 59 degrees and Saturday’s high expected near 56 degrees.
