BREAKING NEWS: UC police officer arrested

A Union City police officer has been arrested by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations.
Michael Hogg of Union City was arrested today and is being charged with two counts filing a false report, insurance fraud and theft resulting from an investigation of a stolen four-wheeler reported by Hogg to the Obion County Sheriff’s Department.
Hogg has been released from duty pending the conclusion of the investigation, according to Union City Police Chief Joe Garner.
