The Obion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the reported theft of a hunting rifle from the cab of a pickup truck owned by Charlie Moran sometime between 10 a.m. and noon Sunday on Corum Road.
Chief Deputy Kent Treece said Moran’s truck was parked in his front yard Sunday morning and his 30-06 bolt-action rifle with a scope was reportedly taken from the front seat. There were no signs of forced entry.
The rifle, the model is unknown, was valued at $350, according to Treece.
