Mary Nell (Whitehead) Polsgrove, 87, of South Fulton died Dec. 17, 2011, at Union City Manor Nursing Home.
Services were set for 1 p.m. today at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Eddie Mallonee officiating. Burial was to follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were to be Chris Bullock, Mark Bullock, Eric Bullock, Brian Polsgrove, Cory Polsgrove and Rob Ruddle.
She was born Jan. 31, 1924, in Weakley County, daughter of the late Bob and Jettie (Hansbrough) Whitehead. She married Othie Almus Polsgrove Dec. 18, 1943. He died in April 1995. She had been employed in Fulton at Ferry-Morse Seed Co. on the assembly line for 27 years and was a member Union City Second Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Carrie Bullock of Williston; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby and Sandy Polsgrove and Jimmy and Jan Polsgrove, all of South Fulton; eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Alexander of Martin and Bobbie Lou Blakemore of Houston; and her brother, Billy Whitehead of Tyler, Texas.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, her sister and her granddaughter.
