Mark Edward Adcock, 48, of Union City died Dec. 17, 2011.
Services were set for 11 today at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. David Hagan was to officiate. Burial was to follow in Mt. Manuel Cemetery.
Pallbearers were to be Mike Morgan, Terry Williams, Timmy Vancleave, Noah Vancleave, Matthew Bing, Shane Adcock and Johnny Adcock. Brian Bing was to serve as honorary pallbearer.
He was born March 30, 1963, in Jacksonville, Fla., son of Ed and Betty (Bing) Adcock of Union City. He was a 1981 graduate of Obion County Central High School in Troy and served in the Tennessee National Guard for six years. He was employed at Williams Sausage Company and was of the Baptist faith.
He is also survived by three sons, John Adcock of Union City and Justin Adam Adcock and Jeremiah Adcock, both of South Fulton; his sister and brother-in-law, Claudine and Richie Ivy of Troy; his brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Jane Adcock of Troy; his grandmother, Claudia Bing of Hornbeak; two nieces, Alice Jean Adcock and Lauren Elizabeth Ivy, both of Troy; and two nephews, Jordan Christopher Ivy and Jayton Ryan Ivy, both of Troy.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward “Bud” Bing and Clarence and Nell Adcock.
