Troop care package drive successful

CARING FOR THE TROOPS – Phi Sigma Kappa Josh Ivy (from left), along with his son Tielor, soon-to-be wife Nikki and fraternity brothers Cody Bobbitt and Colby Staggs put the finishing touches on more than 90 care packages headed overseas to the 194th Engineer Brigade comprised of soldiers from the 913th and 230th Engineer companies. The troops departed from Northwest Tennessee in August. Monetary donations as well as care package items were collected from across the community during the last month for the care package drive. The Alpha Tau Omega fraternity and Alpha Delta Pi sorority also contributed to the effort. The care packages are packed with toiletries, snacks, letters and contributions from Martin Primary School students.
