Santa’s Village boasts record year

The numbers are in and agencies listed for contributions from the 27th annual Santa’s Village have picked up their goods.
Martin Parks and Recreation director Brian Moore said Tuesday afternoon the event boasted a record attendance of 15,365. Donations of food items totaled $40,117 and toy donations brought in a record number at $9,584.
Agencies benefitting from the charity event include: We Care Ministries, Santa’s Helpers, Chimes for Charity, NWTN Disaster Services, Northwest Tennessee Economic Development Council and UT Martin’s Healthy Start program.
