Billie Jean Olds Mansfield

Mrs. Billie Jean Olds Mansfield, 83, of Dresden died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin. Services were held at 11 a.m. today (Tuesday) at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel in Dresden with burial in the Sunset Cemetery, Dresden.
Mrs. Mansfield was born Aug. 3, 1928 in Weakley County, daughter of the late Cuthbert C. and Lydia Ann Norman Olds. She was the widow of Richard Doyle Mansfield. She was a 1947 graduate of Dresden High School, was a retired owner of Doyle’s Body Shop, a member of Dresden Business Association, the American Legion Auxiliary Post 94 and a member of Matheny Grove Primitive Baptist Church in Dresden.
Survivors include one son, Mike (Bertlyn) Mansfield of Camden; five grandchildren, Marcus (Lydia) Mansfield of Augusta, S. C., Misty (David) Vaughan of Gleason, Micki (Steve) Cunningham of McKenzie; Amy (Kevin) Gilley of Camden, Jo Megan (Wes) Garner of Memphis; special friends and neighbors, Jack and Sandra Klutts of Dresden, Clayton Klutts of Nashville, Jordan (Missy) Klutts of Paris, Vetra (Derick) Perry of Dresden; five great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Hattie Mercedes King; and three brothers, Quinton Olds, Ralph Scott Olds and Joe K. Olds.
