|Union City – State Sen. Roy Herron announced Tuesday the Everett-Stewart Regional Airport in Union City will receive $13,900 in funds for electrical work at the airfield. |
“This grant is one more step toward more jobs, both in attracting industries and helping area industries and businesses grow,” Herron said. “Companies large and small want access to a first-class airport, and those companies can create the jobs our citizens need.”
The grants are made available through the Tennessee Department of Transportation’s Aeronautics Division.
