UT Martin football players CJ Estelle and Michael Mancini were among six Ohio Valley Conference players named to the 2011 College Sports Madness Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) All-America Team announced earlier this week.
Estelle, the Skyhawks’ punt returner and a defensive back, was a first-team selection, while Mancini, an offensive lineman, was a second team pick.
Estelle led the nation in punt return average during the 2011 season. The senior had 16 returns for 283 yards, an average of 17.7 yards per return. Included in that is a return of 76 yards for a touchdown against Austin Peay.
Mancini, a first-team All-OVC selection, graded out at 75 percent on the season. He made two errors in 633 snaps and recorded 32 pancake blocks for the Skyhawks.
College Sports Madness has covered FCS football all season.
