Several local businesses now have copies of local author Sheila Kay Turner’s book, “Journey of Grief: Miracles Do Happen, Don’t They?”
Participating businesses include St. Charles Gift Shop, The Looking Glass, Regions Bank in downtown Martin and First State Bank on Main Street.
The book can be ordered online through Barnes & Noble or Amazon.com. Those who have Kindle e-readers will also be able to download the book.
According to Turner, the Christian bookstore in Union City plans to stock the book and Lifeway Bookstore in Jackson will offer special orders.
Presently, Turner is offering the book to the Martin and Weakley County community at the basic price it costs her to order from the publisher– $10 for paperback and $15 for hardback. After Christmas, she plans on attempting to provide a few in the surrounding areas at a price more in line with what bookstores are charging.
“My heart has been blessed by the number of people who still have fond memories in relation to Madison and our family,” Turner said. “God is good!”
