Siegel, Spicer exchange vows

Lauren and Bradford Spicer
Lauren Wood Siegel and Braford Jones Spicer were united in marriage Oct. 1 in an evening ceremony at Franklin United Methodist Church, with Dr. A. Lynn Hill officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark L. Siegel of Franklin. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe D. Spicer of Germantown.
The bride is the granddaughter of Jean Liming and the late Robert Gene Wood and Morris Liming of Martin and Mrs. Noryne Siegel of Columbia, S.C., and the late Louis Siegel. The groom is the grandson of Rhoda Jones and the late A.J. Jones of Murfreesboro and the late Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Spicer of Samburg.
The bride, on the arm of the father, was radiant in an Alvina Valenta tulle bridal gown with ivory Alencon lace and silk chiffon on the bodice. Lightly-jeweled fabric florals were sprinkled throughout the bodice with cascades of Alencon lace flowing down into the skirt and sweep train. The bride carried a bouquet of ivory Vendella roses, Movie Star roses, Italian ruscus, green hydrangeas and coral hypericum berries.
The groom chose a Calvin Klein black tuxedo with ivory cummerbund and tie for his attire. His boutonniere was a Vendella ivory rose with coral hypericum berries.
The bridesmaids wore strapless chocolate brown taffeta dresses and carried bouquets of Movie Star roses, Italian ruscus, green hydrangeas and coral hypericum berries. Maids of honor were Audrey Brown of Memphis and Lauren Stark of Birmingham, Ala. Other attending bridesmaids were Caitlin Hawley of Nashville; Becca Thomas of Colorado Springs; Allison Rogers of Memphis; Rachel Austin of Starkville, Miss.; Dorothy Spencer of Memphis; Samantha Tashman of Altamont and Erin Meadows of Nashville. Finley Koswoski of Huntsville, Ala., was the attending flower girl. She wore a Coren Moore ivory taffeta dress accented with a chocolate brown cummerbund.
Groomsmen wore Calvin Klein tuxedos with ivory cummerbunds and ties. The boutonnieres were a Movie Star rose with coral hypericum berries. Pierce Sullivan of Memphis served as best man.
Groomsmen were Chris Covellis of Jackson; Brett Downing of Nashville; Wes McDaniel of Fishers, Ind.; Drew Deptola of Louisville, Ky.; Justin Foreman of Memphis; Zack Buckland of Union City; Austin Rainey of Memphis; and Drew Daniel of Louisville, Ky.
Ushers were Eric Mogy, Brad Goodwin and Daniel Cossey, all of Memphis.
Scripture reader was Vanessa Oxford of Seneca, S.C., and program attendants were Archana Wagh and Sarah Cossey of Memphis.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Vanderbilt Legends Club in Franklin, hosted by the bride’s parents. An evening of dinner, dancing and celebration honoring the couple was enjoyed prior to the couple’s departure. Amid Auburn and Kentucky shakers, representing the newlyweds’ undergraduate colleges, the couple left on a honeymoon to Russia. Both are graduates of the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in Memphis. The groom is an attorney for Spicer Rudstrom law firm in Memphis.
