The Union City School System has announced the following lunch menus for Dec. 12-16:
Union City High School
Monday, Dec. 12 — Baked chicken nuggets with whole wheat roll, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Tuesday, Dec. 13 — Ham, macaroni and cheese with cornbread, steamed cabbage, Great Northern beans, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Wednesday, Dec. 14 — Chicken Teriyaki and rice with Texas toast, Oriental vegetables, cole slaw, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Thursday, Dec. 15 — Turkey, dressing and gravy with whole wheat roll, green peas, sweet potatoes, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Friday, Dec. 16 — Cheeseburger with whole wheat bun, French fries, fresh sandwich salad cup, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Note: Union City High School offers fiesta bar, reduced-fat pizza bar and fresh salad bar options daily.
Union City Middle School

Tuesday, Dec. 13 — Ham, whole wheat macaroni and cheese with cornbread or pimento cheese with whole wheat bread, steamed cabbage, Great Northern beans, fresh orange, applesauce, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Wednesday, Dec. 14 — Whole-grain pizza or tuna salad with whole wheat bread, steamed broccoli, whole kernel corn, fresh grapes, pears, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Thursday, Dec. 15 — Turkey, dressing and gravy with whole wheat roll or ham and cheese with whole wheat bread, green peas, sweet potatoes, fresh banana, fruit cocktail, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Friday, Dec. 16 — Cheeseburger with whole wheat bun or whole-grain corn dog, French fries, fresh sandwich salad cup, fresh orange, pineapple, and low-fat milk and skim milk.

South Fulton Elementary School has announced the following menus for Dec. 12-16:
Breakfast
Monday, Dec. 12 — Whole-grain cinnamon biscuit or whole-grain cereal with graham crackers and yogurt and low-fat chocolate milk, skim white milk or fruit juice.
Tuesday, Dec. 13 — Whole-grain breakfast pizza or whole-grain cereal with wheat cheese toast and low-fat chocolate milk, skim white milk or fruit juice.
Wednesday, Dec. 14 — Chicken with whole-grain biscuit or whole-grain cereal with graham cracker and low-fat chocolate milk, skim white milk or fruit juice.
Thursday, Dec. 15 — Whole-grain breakfast bagel or whole-grain cereal with wheat toast and jelly and low-fat chocolate milk, skim white milk or fruit juice.
Friday, Dec. 16 — Strawberry pancake or whole-grain cereal with graham cracker and fresh fruit and low-fat chocolate milk, skim white milk or fruit juice.
Note: Free breakfast is offered daily to every SFES student.
Lunch
Monday, Dec. 12  — Whole-grain pepperoni pizza or chicken patty with wheat bun, whole kernel corn, pinto beans, blushing pears, Teddy Grahams and low-fat chocolate milk, skim white milk or orange juice.
Tuesday, Dec. 13 — Ham and cheese Munchin’ Meal with whole-grain bread or vegetable soup with crackers, carrot sticks with dip, sliced cheese, pickle spears, mixed fruit, pudding and low-fat chocolate milk, skim white milk or orange juice.
Wednesday, Dec. 14 — Turkey with cheese whole-grain Munchin’ Meal or whole-grain corn dog, mixed vegetables, corn on the cob, fresh apple, graham cracker and low-fat chocolate milk, skim white milk or orange juice.
Thursday, Dec. 15 — Homestyle chili with beans or pimento cheese with crackers, whole-grain corn chips, celery sticks with dip, sliced peaches, 100 percent fruit snacks and low-fat chocolate milk, skim white milk or orange juice.
Friday, Dec. 16 — Sloppy joe with wheat bun or tuna salad with crackers, oven-baked fries, romaine salad with dressing, fresh banana, Teddy Grahams and low-fat chocolate milk, skim white milk or orange juice.
