James Melvin Boone

James Melvin “Mo” Boone, 86, of Springville, died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011 at his residence.
Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at LeDon Chapel at Ridgeway Funeral Home in Paris with Darrell Pollock officiating.
Boone was born July 4, 1925 in Sharon, son of the late Herman Melvin and Claudine Erwin Boone. He was a World War II United States Army veteran. He was a retired concrete truck driver for Evanston Fuel & Material in Evanston, Ill. He was a life member of V.F.W. and American Legion #89 and member of Masonic Lodge in Des Plaines, Ill.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Mrs. Willie Sue Edwards Boone of Springville; two daughters, Debbie (Jim) Laudermith of Schiller Park, Ill. and Patti Aparo of Oak Park, Ill.; one sister, Joy (Vaughn) Stephens of Springville; two brothers, Wayne (Mary) Boone of Greenfield and Tom Boone of Springville; three step-brothers, Waymon Boone of Culpepper, Va., Daniel Boone and David Boone, both of Sidonia; one sister-in-law, Billie Jo Boone of Sidonia; grandchildren, Mike, Amy and Jimmy Laudermith, Katie (Nick) Roppo, Ricky and Maggie Aparo.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Bill Boone.
