Terry Joe Billingsby

A Dresden man facing charges of aggravated child abuse, manufacture of methamphetamine and meth possession will face a Weakley County grand jury in January when prosecutors will look for an indictment against him.
Terry Joe Billingsby, 27, is accused of handing a “shake and bake” meth operation in a bottle to one of his young children after a Weakley County Sheriff’s deputy attempted to serve a failure to appear warrant at Billingsby’s home Nov. 18.
Items used to manufacture meth, along with the finished product, were allegedly found in the carport of the residence during a search that day.
Billingsby has been held without bond in the Weakley County Detention Center since that time. During a court appearance Wednesday in Weakley County General Sessions Court, Billingsby’s charges were bound over to the January 2012 term of the Weakley County grand jury.
